Security and privacy

Security at ApplyArc

ApplyArc is designed for job seekers managing sensitive information, including applications, recruiter conversations, resumes or CVs, notes, interviews, and follow-ups.

Our security approach

ApplyArc is built around a simple principle: your job search data should stay private, organized, and under your control. We use managed infrastructure, account-based access, and privacy-conscious product design to reduce unnecessary exposure of your information.

ApplyArc is operated by ApplyArc LLC.

Data ApplyArc may store

Depending on how you use the product, ApplyArc may store information you add or forward into your account, including:

  • Account information, such as your name and email address
  • Job applications, companies, roles, stages, and next steps
  • Recruiter emails you forward or connect to applications
  • Notes, interview prep, follow-up reminders, and contacts
  • Resume or CV content that you upload, paste, or manage
  • Product usage and diagnostic information used to operate the service

What ApplyArc does not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use your job search data to advertise to you.
  • We do not publish your applications, emails, notes, or resumes.
  • We do not mass apply to jobs on your behalf.
  • We do not ask you to share your email password with ApplyArc.

Account access

Access to ApplyArc requires authentication. Application records, recruiter emails, notes, and other job search data are scoped to the user account they belong to.

Internal access is limited to what is needed to operate, support, secure, and improve the service. We aim to keep administrative access narrow and purpose-based.

Email forwarding

ApplyArc lets you forward recruiter emails into your account so they can be attached to the right application and kept with the rest of your job search context.

Forwarded emails may be processed to identify the related company, role, stage, follow-up signal, or application context. This is used to help organize your job search, not to advertise to you.

You should avoid forwarding emails that contain unrelated sensitive information, passwords, financial account details, or other content you do not want stored in ApplyArc.

AI usage

ApplyArc uses AI to help reduce job search admin, understand roles, highlight must-haves and keywords, support interview preparation, and keep context attached to applications.

When you use AI-powered features, relevant content may be processed by AI service providers to generate the result you requested. ApplyArc uses AI to support your workflow, not to replace your judgment or automate your job search into generic output.

Data control

You stay in control of your account and your data. You can contact ApplyArc to request help with account access, data access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.

Some records may need to be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing, dispute handling, or backup integrity.

Infrastructure and payments

ApplyArc uses managed infrastructure providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, email handling, analytics, AI features, and payment processing.

Payment processing is handled by a payment provider. ApplyArc does not store full payment card numbers on its own systems.

Security limitations

No online service can guarantee perfect security. ApplyArc works to protect user data using practical security controls, careful product design, and responsible handling of sensitive job search information.

You can help protect your account by using a strong password, keeping access to your email account secure, and avoiding forwarding unrelated sensitive information into ApplyArc.
