1. Use of the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old to use ApplyArc, or otherwise have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- You agree to use ApplyArc only for lawful purposes related to managing your job search activities.
- You may not use the Service to send spam, scrape or harvest data, interfere with the platform, bypass limits or access controls, or otherwise misuse the Service.
- We may suspend, limit, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for abuse, fraud, spam, automation misuse, or other prohibited activity.
2. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us promptly.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the data and materials you upload to ApplyArc, including job applications, resumes or CVs, notes, attachments, and email content you intentionally connect, upload, or forward into the Service.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, for example by storing your data, generating exports you request, matching emails to applications, saving jobs you choose to capture, or applying automation rules and AI features you enable.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload, store, or submit content to the Service.
4. Chrome Extension terms
The ApplyArc Chrome Extension is part of the Service and is subject to these Terms.
- The extension may access webpage content only to perform the feature you choose to use, such as saving a job listing or supporting related autofill actions.
- You remain responsible for reviewing all information before relying on it, saving it, or submitting it in an application.
- You may not use the extension to scrape websites at scale, collect data for resale, bypass restrictions, interfere with third party sites, or use the extension for unauthorized automation.
- We may modify, limit, or disable extension functionality where necessary to comply with law, platform policies, technical requirements, or abuse prevention.
5. AI features and fair usage
ApplyArc may offer AI powered features such as role understanding, resume matching, summaries, reply drafting, and workflow assistance. These features are designed to support your job search, not replace your judgment.
5.1 AI outputs
- AI generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any AI generated content.
- ApplyArc does not guarantee that AI features will produce any specific result or improve job search outcomes.
5.2 Access and usage
- Access to AI features may vary by plan, trial status, or promotional access.
- Free, trial, preview, teaser, or promotional access may include limited usage, reduced output modes, or restricted features.
- Paid plans may include broader access to AI features, subject to these Terms.
5.3 Fair usage
AI features are provided on a fair usage basis. While some plans may be described as including "full" or "unlimited" access, this refers to normal individual job search use and not excessive, automated, or abusive usage.
- We may apply usage controls where activity exceeds reasonable personal usage patterns or would otherwise unreasonably burden the Service or underlying AI providers.
- These controls may include reduced response depth, shorter outputs, delayed processing, lighter weight AI processing, or other protective measures instead of immediate blocking.
- We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe usage is abusive, fraudulent, designed to circumvent limits, or harmful to the Service.
5.4 Changes to AI features
We may change, add, remove, limit, or reprice AI features, usage limits, availability, or processing methods over time. We may also update what is included in free, trial, beta, or paid plans.
6. Preview, beta, and experimental features
ApplyArc may offer certain features, access levels, workflows, or releases as preview, beta, experimental, early access, or limited release features. These may be incomplete, unstable, or subject to change.
We may modify, limit, suspend, or remove preview, beta, or experimental features at any time. Some of these features may also be subject to additional terms, including a separate beta or preview agreement, where we make those terms available.
If you access a non-public feature or release, you agree not to publicly disclose non-public information about that feature without our written consent.
7. Data protection
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using ApplyArc, you agree to it.
8. Paid plans and billing
From time to time, we may offer paid plans, subscriptions, trials, or one time purchases. Pricing, included features, renewals, and any applicable limits will be presented at the point of purchase.
8.1 Renewals
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date shown in your account or at checkout.
- We may change pricing or inclusions for future billing periods, but we will present the updated price before a new purchase or renewal where required.
8.2 Trials and plan changes
- Trials or promotional plans may convert, expire, downgrade, or end as described at signup or in your account.
- If a paid plan ends or is cancelled, your account may be downgraded to a lower tier or free tier where available.
- Downgrading may reduce access to features, including AI features, application limits, or storage.
8.3 Cancellations
- You can cancel a subscription at any time through the Service where available. Cancellation stops future billing.
- Unless required by law, cancellation does not retroactively refund charges already paid for the current billing period.
- Ending a subscription does not automatically delete your ApplyArc account.
8.4 Refunds
- Fees are generally non refundable, except where required by law or where a refund policy is explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
- If you believe you were billed in error, contact us and we’ll review the issue.
8.5 Failed payments and access
- If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and or suspend paid features until payment is completed.
- If you have made a successful payment to ApplyArc, we may retain your account and data for a defined retention period after your last payment, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Service availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, provider outages, AI provider availability, third party dependency failures, or other disruptions may occur. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
10. Disclaimers
ApplyArc is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee outcomes from using the Service, such as interviews, offers, or job placement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyArc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Governing law
To the extent permitted by law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You and ApplyArc agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes may be announced via email or in app notification where appropriate. Your continued use of ApplyArc after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
